To continue to grow, we are now looking for a new colleague. As a Bilingual Content Marketing Manager at EcoOnline, you will be an important part of the company's further growth, and you will gain valuable experience and a professional network.

The role:

We are looking for a qualified bilingual (Finnish & Swedish) Content manager to join our team, based in Helsinki / Finland (you should already be based in that location). You will be responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining and translating content to achieve our business goals. Your duties will also include sharing content to raise brand awareness and monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify best practices.

To EcoOnline content is the cornerstone in all marketing efforts and as a Content Marketing Manager you will be responsible to create, publish and optimize various types of content to all EcoOnline’s digital channels. This role is at the core of the marketing team, and others will rely on your work every single day.

To succeed in creating content for different audiences, channels and in different genres requires the ability to have a dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.

As Content Marketing Manager you will be responsible to develop a and maintain a content strategy, writing blog posts, updating existing content, building an editorial calendar, content promotion, identifying new content opportunities, monitoring organic website traffic and providing accountability for deadlines. In addition to excellent writing skills this position also acquires that you are a team-player, able to work cross border and use the internal knowledge that is spread around all units of EcoOnline. Translation of content will also be part of the assignment.

An important part of the tasks in creating will be the ability to do research to create content that is trustworthy and with reliable sources. In close dialog with sales you will be responsible to retrieve an overview of potential customers to interview for customer cases and testimonials. There will be some traveling, both to the other offices, but also visiting customers for interviews.

The Content Marketing Manager will report to VP Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Together with your colleague in Ireland you will develop the content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
  • Collaborate with design team to plan and develop site content, style and layout to maintain brand consistency
  • Create and publish engaging content for news, blog, e-books, infographics, guides/tips and tricks
  • Edit, proofread, translate and improve writer’s posts
  • Liaise with content writers to ensure tone of voice and brand consistency
  • Optimize content according to SEO lead generation
  • Use content management systems to analyse website traffic, A/B testing and user engagement metrics
  • Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase traffic
  • Develop an editorial calendar and ensure content team is on board
  • Create and develop testimonials and business cases
  • Create videos
  • Collaborate with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, journalism or relevant field
  • Past experience producing content for the web specifically, as well as channel-specific knowledge (video, blog, email, LinkedIn, Facebook etc.).
  • Past experience in writing content for the B2B software market
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere Pro)
  • Technical know-how: CMS tools like WordPress or HubSpot, YouTube and MS Office
  • Proficient with multi-channel media tools: Video content creation and sharing

Skills:

  • Proven experience as content manager
  • Excellent writing skills in English
  • Analytic skills: ability to analyse, create and optimize content based upon Growth-Driven-Design
  • Understanding marketing personas: knowledge of Google Analytics Platform to create content that will resonate with the targeted audience to push them further down the marketing funnel
  • Excellent time management, planning and communication skills

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in marketing, journalism or relevant field
  • Swedish / Finnish language skills (preferably bilingual)
  • Past experience producing content for the web specifically, as well as channel-specific knowledge (video, blog, email, LinkedIn, Facebook etc.).
  • Past experience in writing content for the B2B software market
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere Pro)
