To continue to grow, we are now looking for a new colleague. As an Business Development Executive at EcoOnline, you will be an important part of the company's further growth, and you will gain valuable experience and a professional network.

Our software ALMEGO® is a SDS authoring software used to create safety data sheets for hazard-labeled chemical products sold professionally (BtB).

  • We are seeking two talented sales consultants with strong professional profiles who can introduce and sell our next generation SDS authoring software ALMEGO® in UK and Ireland.
  • Join the EcoOnline growth journey within the field of EHS Software. As UK/Ireland Sales consultant you will be an important part of the company's further growth as you will be responsible for making our highly competitive ALMEGO software a key player on the UK/Irish market.
  • You will gain valuable experience with market introduction and expert sales. You will also get a professional network of 400+ dedicated colleagues in EcoOnline Global.
  • You will become part of the ALMEGO® team that will support your efforts and activities, helping you replicate the high conversion rates we see in other markets. And you will receive thorough training in our software.
  • The ALMEGO® SDS center of excellence is placed in Denmark, but you will be working from UK & Ireland, but expect some travel to Denmark for the initial training (during the first 2 months).


  • You will work with all aspects of sales: Lead generation, networking, presentations (online & onsite), contributing to preparation of sales materials, negotiations and follow up. But outbound sales (cold calling & networking etc.), processing leads from our online marketing and 1-1½ hour software demonstrations will be primary activities.
  • It is important that you are experienced in the entire sales process and that you can easily help potential customers throughout all stages of the decision-making process for a complex product.   
  • As you will be opening new markets (green field sales) you must have the drive, experience, and persistence that this will require.   
  • Furthermore, you must be a strong communicator. You shall be able to address customers at eye level, whether it is a multinational company or a small one-man business, you are meeting. You should be trustworthy and result-oriented with a positive and service minded attitude.   
  • If you master a second language (French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish etc.) please add this to your application.  


  • Educated to degree level.
  • Due to the complexity of chemical legislation, it is important that you learn easy as you will be dealing both with very skilled experts and with contacts that are still new to the task of creating SDS.
  • Experience with BtB sales and a sales profile that matches complex software and some long sales cycles. 
  • Experience with BtB sales of complex products; preferably complex software and perhaps to have some experience and/or knowledge relating to chemistry/EHS/compliance. This is needed to engage in selling to the company experts using SDS authoring software solutions to make safety data sheets. You will be selling an expert niche software, so you need to be comfortable accruing complicated product knowledge and with longer sales dialogues.
