About the Role
As Project Management Team Lead, you will lead and develop the Nordic Project Management function, helping EcoOnline deliver successful customer implementations, strategic projects and transformation initiatives across the region.
You will be responsible for leading, coaching and developing a team of Project Managers, while also taking a hands-on role in complex customer engagements, portfolio governance, escalations and strategic delivery initiatives.
This is not a purely managerial position. The successful candidate will remain actively involved in complex delivery challenges, customer escalations, project governance, delivery planning and strategic customer initiatives, helping teams navigate ambiguity and drive successful outcomes.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how Professional Services delivers customer value across the Nordics, influence the future of customer delivery and build leadership capability within a growing international SaaS organisation.
You will work closely with senior leaders, strategic customers and cross-functional teams, helping to drive operational excellence, improve delivery performance and strengthen customer outcomes across the region.
Unlike many people leadership roles, you will remain closely involved in delivery challenges, customer escalations, project planning and strategic customer initiatives.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership, making decisions and bringing recommendations rather than simply escalating issues.
You will play a key role in helping EcoOnline strengthen customer relationships, improve project outcomes and support organisations in creating safer, healthier and more sustainable workplaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach and develop the Nordic Project Management team, creating a culture of ownership, collaboration, continuous learning and high performance.
Oversee complex customer implementations and strategic projects, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, timelines, budgets and quality expectations.
Drive consistent project governance, portfolio visibility, forecasting, resource planning and risk management across customer delivery activities.
Act as a senior escalation point for customer engagements, supporting executive stakeholder communication and protecting customer outcomes.
Partner with Customer Success, Sales, Solutions, Product and Support to ensure strong delivery-commercial alignment and measurable customer value.
Drive modern ways of working through AI, automation, data-driven decision making and continuous improvement initiatives across Professional Services.
Support project estimation, scope management, commercial discussions, delivery planning and strategic customer opportunities, while helping teams make effective decisions and manage delivery risk.
Build delivery capability, standardisation and best practices across the Nordic Professional Services organisation.
What we're looking for:
Typically 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Customer Delivery, Professional Services or Programme Management, ideally within SaaS, software or technology environments.
Previous people leadership, team leadership or significant coaching and mentoring experience, with a passion for developing others and building high-performing teams.
Strong customer delivery experience, including working directly with senior stakeholders, managing escalations and driving successful project outcomes.
Strong commercial awareness, with experience balancing customer requirements, delivery realities, project economics and long-term customer success.
Confidence working with estimation, forecasting, resource planning, scope management, assumptions and risk assessment.
Ability to influence without direct authority and build strong relationships across internal teams and customer organisations.
A strong ownership mentality with a bias for action, decision-making and problem solving.
A strong digital mindset and interest in using AI, automation and modern collaboration tools to improve planning, reporting, communication and delivery quality.
Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in a Nordic language is strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or Scrum certifications would be beneficial.
