We are currently looking for a Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser(DGSA) to join our fantastic company. A DGSA provides consultancy support and training to all organisations involved in the transport of dangerous goods such as chemicals, hazardous waste etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing consultancy to clients on all aspects associated with the consignment of dangerous goods
  • Complete onsite dangerous goods compliance audits
  • Audit report writing
  • Complete dangerous goods annual reports
  • Develop client procedures for activities associated with the carriage of dangerous goods
  • Investigate dangerous goods related accidents and/or incidents
  • Provide training on all aspects associated with the transport of dangerous goods related to client activities
  • Provide guidance and assistance to clients on all queries related to the transport of dangerous goods
  • Full training is provided for the role, however, a qualification in Health & Safety or a DGSA certificate would be preferable
  • Like travelling, (2-3 days travelling to client sites per week)
  • Are confident, self-motivated, flexible and customer orientated
  • Have the ability to prioritise work and manage challenging workload
  • Are analytical and have good problem-solving skills
  • Hold a full clean driving license

 

You:

  • Full training is provided for the role, however, a qualification in Health & Safety or a DGSA certificate would be preferable. 
  • Like travelling, (2-3 days travelling to client sites per week)
  • Are confident, self-motivated, flexible and customer orientated
  • Have the ability to prioritise work and manage challenging workload
  • Are analytical and have good problem-solving skills
  • Hold a full clean driving license
