Line manager and Senior Frontend Developer – Research & Development

As a technical oriented person, I find EcoOnline to be an exciting place to work because of all the different technologies we use. It’s also engaging to work with software within the EHS sphere. A typical day at EcoOnline normally starts with a daily scrum meeting in the morning. Before lunch, I might develop a new UI component, based on the sketches from our design team. After lunch, there could be a bug that needs attention, which I’ll fix and deploy. Before the day ends, I’ll go over our sprint backlog and prepare some tasks.

I would recommend others to work at EcoOnline. It presents a great opportunity to influence the future of our EHS systems. We have a huge R&D department spread across many different countries in Europe, with highly skilled employees in all areas. The company also has a nice policy in terms of working remotely, which has proven very effective, especially during the Covid pandemic.
