About the Role
Our Professional Services team provide innovative SaaS solutions that enable global customers to digitise their Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) processes. With user-friendly EHSQ software, we empower organisations of all sizes to achieve engagement and operational excellence, resulting in safer, sustainable, and more productive workplaces. Based in Northern Europe, our teams operate in the UK, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark, delivering exceptional services to our clients.
Responsibilities
The role:
As a Project Manager, you will take on the exciting responsibility of meticulously planning, executing, and successfully concluding projects within agreed-upon timelines and budgets. You'll be at the forefront of coordinating the efforts of our talented team members and ensuring the seamless acquisition of necessary resources to ensure the smooth delivery of projects as per the plan. Throughout the project life cycle, you'll be the driving force that instils a sense of control, ensuring efficiency and excellence at every step.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Take the lead in planning, executing, and delivering projects and large-scale changes effectively.
- Project Plan Creation and Maintenance: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, ensuring clear direction and focus throughout the project duration.
- Reporting and Progress Monitoring: Provide timely and accurate reports and management information, keeping stakeholders informed about project progress.
- Stakeholder Management and Communication: Be responsible for planning and managing communication with stakeholders, ensuring their needs are addressed, and maintaining effective delivery schedules and resource planning.
- Client-Facing Coordination: Interact directly with clients, addressing their communication, planning, and coordination requirements.
- Adherence to PRINCE2 Methodology: Ensure compliance with PRINCE2 methodology by obtaining signoff at the end of each management stage.
- Decisive Decision Making: Demonstrate the ability to make well-informed decisions regarding day-to-day project management and resource allocation.
- Recommendations to the Board: Provide evidence-based recommendations to the board and present exception plans, if needed.
- Full Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee all phases of the project delivery lifecycle, from initiation to smooth transition to BAU (Business as Usual).
Qualifications
- 5+ years in a Project Management role
- Fluent in Norwegian or Swedish language
- Effective Stakeholder Engagement: Proficient in running workshops to gather requirements from external stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Software Implementation Lifecycle: A strong understanding of the software implementation lifecycle, with prior experience in this area.
- Managing Multiple Large Projects: Capable of successfully handling more than one large project simultaneously.
- Versatility in Project Management: Ability to manage projects for different product versions, catering to both new and existing clients.
- Agile Software Development: Experience with agile software development methodologies.
- Relationship and Stakeholder Management: Excellent skills in building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proactive and Decisive: Takes a proactive approach, makes informed decisions, and consistently delivers results.
- Effective Communication and Problem Solving: Confident communicator, facilitator, influencer, and adept problem solver.
- Team Motivation and Self-Drive: Capable of motivating the team and maintaining self-motivation even when facing challenges.
- Time Management and Prioritisation: Skilled at multitasking and effectively prioritizing tasks and time.
- Working Under Pressure: Ability to remain composed and work efficiently in high-pressure environments.
- Collaborative and Independent: Thrives in a team setting but is also capable of working independently.
Adaptability and Additional Responsibilities:
- Willingness to partake in other activities when required, such as facilitating client training, onboarding and continuous improvement activities
- Software and Technology Skills: Proficiency in project management tools and software. Familiarity with project management platforms, collaboration tool
- Communication and Leadership Skills: Effective communication and strong leadership skills working in partnership with cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring seamless coordination between different departments and clients.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Project Manager, managing software implementation projects, client-facing roles, and handling multiple projects concurrently
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Must possess strong analytical abilities and be adept at solving complex problems that may arise during project execution.
Desirable: Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science / Information Technology / Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Additional Skills:
Knowledge and experience in SaaS and the practical application in an operational setting for Environmental, Health & Safety Management (EHS).
Knowledge of policies, procedures and practices put in place to ensure the protection of people, the environment, and property from harm or damage.
