About the Role
We are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our growing team. This team focuses on collecting outstanding balances from our clients and performs administrative tasks that maintain the integrity of the billing function. You will engage with our customers to confirm that payment methods are up to date, as well as ensuring contract terms are being met.
Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable:
- Monitor and review customer accounts to ensure payments are made promptly.
- Post payments and credits to customer accounts.
- Reconcile AR aging reports and follow up on overdue payments.
- Collections:
- Contact customers (via phone, email, or written communication) to collect overdue balances.
- Negotiate payment arrangements or settlements with customers when necessary.
- Document all customer interactions related to collections and follow up on unresolved issues.
- Assist current accountant in other tasks as necessary.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in a B2B collections or accounts receivable role, preferably within a SaaS environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to present information logically and concisely
- Microsoft Dynamics F&O experience preferred.
- Proficient excel skills.
- Need to comfortable making phone call for collection.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced/high-volume environment.
